What do you know?
Millennial’s are now 51% of workforce today. They will be 75% of workforce by 2025. They entered adulthood sometime around 2000.
Do you know how to reach them? Do you know how to work with them, and soon how to work for them?
They want authenticity, environmentally friendly products, real time offers, easy redemption, social not stodgy, and you won’t find them talking on their phone. They are on their laptops, smart phones and tablets.
You will find them on Instagram, Snapchat, and GChat talking.
They are cause driven, not so much money driven. Provide a reason for them to work for you – beyond a paycheck. What do you give back to the community, to the world? What organizations are you a part of – Rotary, Lions, NAWBO, Chamber of Commerce? Are you active volunteers? These things all matter. (One day soon, you’ll be working for them.)
Tie your brand to a cause and they will find you. And don’t tell them what to do, build a relationship with them. Get to know them.
