About a year ago I wrote a post about how to write a mission statement. I came up with
I live each day with a listening, happy heart that guides me in healthy actions. I meet new and old friends, share in conversation and build a loving, kind business. I write, talk, travel and play with intensity and bring the benefits home to those I love.
Now isn’t that beautiful? It was so long and wordy that I could not remember it. I wanted to tell people about my mission statement, use it on my company documents, share it with the world.
But I didn’t.
I’ve worked on it this year. This is the year of my living into my greatness. I’ve decided I’m greater than I know, and I’m living into that greatness. Combining the essence of my original mission statement with living into my greatness created this mission statement.
Write, talk, travel and play – teaching others how to live into their own greatness.
Now I have a mission statement I can remember – and that perfectly describes what I do in one short sentence.
